Artist's Comments

Our assignment from last week's Figure Drawing class was to start and complete a drawing of a human skull.

Staedtler Mars Lumograph HB and 6B pencils, small and large blending stumps (for whomever wants to know). =)

Nicely drawn.
Where is the teacher getting human skulls from though?

Actually, I did it at home. I have a small plastic skull I got from a theme park, and I filled in the more realistic features from a printed out photo. We do have skeletons in class though. No clue where they got them, but one is plastic.

I've seen better... skulls I mean, not drawings of skulls. That's the best drawing of a skull I've seen.
:iconkuraichikara:
Ahh, gottcha. That's cool none-the-less.

what a beautifully rendered human skull! your attention to detail here is just wonderful. i couldn't tell at all that you'd used a plastic skull as the basis for this. ^^
